Breast surgery has a number of inherent risks and should not be rushed into.

Be vary careful if any of the following items apply to your search for a doctor to do breast surgery for you.

1. Won’t see you until surgery. You need to spend time with the doctor so you can talk about the ramifications of your choice. You are a person and not a number with a credit card.

2. Medical board record. Make sure you check their standing on the medical board and do some research to see if they have been sued before and have any outstanding marks against them.

3. Staff that makes you feel awkward about seeing the doctor before surgery. If the staff appears to be hiding the doctor and processing you through their system like a cow in a milking line then get out.

4. Making a hasty decision based on vacation plans. This is not something that you have to have done. It is not an emergency and if you treat it that way you may regret it for months and years to come.
